The campsite

Location: to the south west of the the Ampezzo valley, along the path of the River Boite, immersed in meadows that blend in with the ‘Croda da Lago’ woods; it’s just 1.7 km from the centre of Cortina and can be reached by car or public transport – there’s a bus-ski bus stop at the campsite entrance – or simply on foot, by following a panoramic walkway that takes you from the campsite to the centre of Cortina in just 20 minutes.

Camping Rocchetta is open in summer from 1st June to 20th September and in winter from 6th December to 31st March

Info for cyclists: the campsite is 800m away from the Dolomites cycle path, following the road that leads into the centre of Cortina, or, alternatively, you can head south following the road that goes to the village of Zuel.

Info for climbers: the campsite is a 30-minute walk from the rock climbing routes at the Volpera caves.
